The challenge

Headquartered in California, STAAR Surgical are leaders in the development, manufacturing and marketing of implantable contact lenses for ICL surgery.

Staar surgical were looking for a way to increase revenue in a nascent market by generating new patients for their partner clinics who use their products.

Staar were unable to engage with patients at a local level, and their partner clinics (who offer a range of treatments beyond ICL) lacked the digital marketing acumen, as well as internal resource, to run effective patient acquisition campaigns for the surgery.

We came up with a marketing strategy that utilised paid search, paid social and email marketing. 

By unifying research, ad creative and messaging, as well as building a versatile landing page using an off-site platform, we ensured that our campaigns could be deployed for any number of individual clinics and scaled up as success grew.
