The Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire (BSW) Clinical Commissioning Group provide health and care services to around 934,000 people. Providing education and training to staff is key to ensuring the highest quality of care.
BSW struggled with communicating education and training opportunities to employees across the ICS. They found hospitals across the trust were siloed when it came to running training courses. There was no central website or hub to advertise courses and training opportunities available. They needed to find a digital solution to support ongoing staff training and maximise cost efficiencies across Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire.
Ease of use and functionality were important for the team maintaining the website at BSW. They needed an interface that was quick and simple to update as and when new training opportunities became available
BSW worked with Medico Digital to build a training and education website which would be easy to use, useful and of interest to employers and employees across health and social care services in BSW.
By using a clean design and layout, users are able to quickly identify what courses are coming up, and access resources to enable their learning and development.
