Bristol-based Cosmetic Surgeon, Mr Paul Wilson, approached Medico Digital in 2015 looking to grow his private practice by developing his online presence. Having had little success with his existing website, Mr Wilson was looking to reinvigorate his cosmetic brand that wasn’t attracting new patients to his clinic.

Website design

Working closely with Paul, we developed a new, mobile responsive website to promote his private clinics. Maintaining a constant feedback loop throughout the design process, we were able to complete and launch the new website within a month.

The new website is integrated with lots of great features to improve patients’ online experience, including Live Chat, video content and an interactive morphing tool for patients to simulate the results of breast augmentation surgery.

Search engine optimisation

Having worked with another agency for a number of years, Paul’s previous website had been subject to some questionable SEO tactics that had led to his website being penalised by Google. The sanction imposed by Google was so significant that his website had become unfindable in search results meaning his previous website could no longer support his practice.

After several months of strategic whitehat SEO activities, Paul’s new website is experiencing sustained, organic growth and has achieved first page rankings on Google for nearly all his key procedure search terms. The result, Paul’s new website has seen a 172% increase in traffic and is now generating an average of 1-2 patient enquiries each day.
