The London Clinic, a leading private hospital in London with a rich heritage, needed help in generating patient enquiries from the UAE for a range of specialised treatments. They asked Medico Digital to create a social campaign to help meet this objective.
The cultural sensitivities and local nuances of the market demanded that the campaign be planned and targeted with great care. Patients of a certain affluence needed to be reached, as well as a specific section of the UAE community living as expats in the UK.
Medico leveraged the powerful targeting features of Facebook’s advertising platform to run the campaign, creating a variety of different ad types to position the hospital as an international medical centre of excellence and promote their ‘world-leading specialists’. A set of patient personas were used in order to ‘drill-down’ into the specific profiles which the campaign needed to target for it to be successful and help The London Clinic reach its key business objectives.
